    • The LifeAIs Care Partner / Family Member mobile applications (iOS and Android)
    • The LifeAIs facility-facing web application

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in the following situations:

3.1 With Facilities & Authorized Users

Our Services are often provided through a facility (such as a senior living or care facility). In those cases:

  • The facility may designate which residents and family members are associated with which accounts.
  • Staff and administrators at the facility may see monitoring data and alerts related to residents under their care.
  • Family members may see monitoring data and alerts for residents to whom they have been granted access.

Access is governed by the facility’s policies and applicable agreements.

3.2 With Service Providers

We work with third-party vendors that perform services on our behalf, including:

  • Hosting and storage providers
  • Communications providers (e.g., SMS, voice, and push notifications)
  • Analytics and error-logging services
  • Customer support tools

These providers are allowed to use information only to perform services for us and are required to protect it appropriately.

3.3 For Legal, Safety, and Compliance Reasons

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes
  • Respond to lawful requests by public authorities
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of LifeAIs, our users, residents, or others
  • Enforce our agreements and policies

3.4 Business Transfers

If LifeAIs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

4. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Services
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce our agreements

Facilities and account owners may control or request how long certain monitoring data and alerts are stored within their deployments, subject to technical and legal constraints.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures may include:

  • Access controls and authentication
  • Encryption of data in transit and/or at rest (where appropriate)
  • Regular security reviews and monitoring

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Residents’ Privacy and Consent

Our Services are often deployed in environments where residents may be monitored for safety and well-being.

  • Facilities are responsible for obtaining any required consents or authorizations from residents or their legal representatives.
  • Facilities may configure which data is collected, how long it is stored, and who can access it.
  • If you are a resident or legal representative and have questions about how the system is used in your facility, please contact the facility directly or contact us using the details below.

7. International Users

Our Services may be used in different countries. If you access the Services from outside the country where our systems are located, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those other jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights such as:

  • Accessing the personal information we hold about you
  • Requesting correction or deletion of your information
  • Objecting to or restricting certain processing
  • Withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent

If you are:

  • A family member or care partner, you can update certain account details directly in the app or by contacting us.
  • A resident, please contact your facility administrator first, as they typically control the underlying records and configuration.

You can opt out of non-essential communications (like marketing messages) by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. You cannot opt out of certain service-related communications (such as critical safety alerts or important account notices).

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not intended for children to use independently. Accounts are created for adult care partners, family members, or facility staff. Residents may be monitored as part of a care arrangement, and their information is managed and authorized by the facility or legal representative.

We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites or services that are not controlled by LifeAIs. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
